Our Mission Statement

Pride in the Valley was founded to celebrate the hope of the future while honoring the struggles and triumphs of the past. The festival’s mission is to unite people from all backgrounds and recognize those who paved the way for the freedom to celebrate openly.

Blending a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere with a powerful message, Pride in the Valley affirms that everyone—regardless of sexuality, gender identity, gender expression, HIV status, age, race, ethnicity, religion, or any other factor—deserves the right to live fully and authentically. More than just a day of celebration, the festival also serves as an important fundraiser for Full Spectrum Community Outreach, supporting year-round programs and services that are open and accessible to all.
